I mentioned that D. and I are finally getting our big bathroom renovated and how I temporarily questioned whether or not I was an asshole for caring so much about it.
You'll see here how big the bathroom is. There's not enough room to get a photo of an entire wall.
This is what it looked like on Monday morning:
I know it doesn't look that bad in the photo. Just believe me, because there are things I can't get into the photo. And that's enough of that.
Last night, after the first day of destruction, the bathroom looked like this:
Eep.
Just a little dusty.
Over the weekend, I had packed up boxes of lotions and potions.
I noticed how many products I use. Or don't use. Just for my hair I have several options for relaxing, styling, shampooing, de-frizzing, protecting, shellacking. I've stopped buying hair products but I like having this accumulated array of options. Or do I?
D. has just the essentials. I'm kind of envious of him:
- Razor
- Edge gel
- Irish Spring soap
- Deoderant
- Aqua Velva, which he admits he uses twice each year so it's in a really old glass bottle that he thinks is cool because they don't make them like that anymore.
In about 7 weeks we'll have a new place for his Aqua Velva and I'll share the "after" photo of this extreme makeover.
Omg! That really need a big renovation. Good luck! Hope to see the big difference after it has been renovated. Mind if u upload some photo of it?
