Never mind the fact that I was soooo uncomfortable wearing the outfit. She had paid full price at Talbots so I promptly returned them for never-expiring store credit and then promptly forgot to go back and shop for dark wintry clothes that I would of course wear all year 'round.
This morning I fell in love with some of their dresses online, and I was hoping that I could buy this cute polo dress and could wear it to BlogHer even though I said I wasn't going to shop for any new clothes specifically for BlogHer.
Instead, I was met with the end of summer blowout sale. Whoo-hoooo! I scored a dark navy cardigan, a long silk/cashmere black and white scarf that retailed for like $70 and I got for mere pennies, and a navy shirred raglan sleeve top, and I still have $62 left toward a fall dress when the new line arrives in late August.
Which I'm hoping will complement My Little MBA, but I haven't yet heard if I'm accepted into the program. I have held off buying a Hello Kitty Trapper Keeper or as was also suggested to me, a Harajuku Lovers binder. I know that will impress my professors. Who will probably be younger than I am.
So amidst the pink and green paisley sweaters and boxy linen jackets I discovered some clothes worthy of me. I wish you the same with your quest.
